SMALL GRANTS


Wymondham Town Council is pleased to announce that a small grant of £500 has been awarded to Wymondham Community Kitchen which is providing food parcels to residents. This is been of great help to those who vulnerable and self-isolating in accordance with Government guidelines.

A grant of£500 has also been given to Roots Cafe which is operated by the Baptist Church in Wymondham and they are currently providing packed lunches to needy children on a daily basis.

Wymondham Doorstep Helpers - a local group set up to help vulnerable and needy residents who are self isolating has been awarded £250 to cover the cost of preparing and producing an information leaflet.

Any other Wymondham charities and groups helping during the current crisis are encouraged to speak to the Council by telephoning 01953 603302 or emailing office@wymondhamtc.gov.uk to see if they can be considered for a small grant (max. £1,000).

Norfolk Community Foundation has Covid-19 funding for Charities etc, maximum grant is of £1,000, please see the attached link
