Queen Elizabeth Memorial Garden (formerly known as Chandler's Hill)

A peaceful public garden on Chandler's Hill (behind Market Street car park) redesigned and updated in 2023 as a memorial to Queen Elizabeth II.

Woodland Walk - the new footpath was opened by the deputy Town Mayor, Jack Hornby on Saturday 1st June 2019. This was a Greening Wymondham project, raising funding from the European Rural Development Fund and the Town Council, with contributions from the Big Lottery Fund, Waitrose and Persimmon Homes.

Greening Wymondham volunteers are managing the woodland with the Norwich Fringe Project, supported by the Town Council funding.

Cllr Dave Roberts, Chair of Wymondham Access Group - disabled users of the footpath can gain access to the site from Burdock Close on the Harts Farm Estate. There are no parking restrictions but members of the public will be asked to be considerate of the local residents.
